Employment

This page is a work in progress.

Although it can often be a challenge to find jobs, sometimes remigrants with English skills and/or American educations have skills which are sought after in their new communities. You can use these skills to your advantage by creating your own business or helping existing organizations.

Because English is the linga franca, many organizations are in desperate need of English instruction. You may be able to tutor local members of government or business leaders. Often, websites such as Dave’s ESL will also have postings for online English classes which are conducted through programs such as Skype and may pay much nicer rates than jobs in your local community although they may have difficult hours.
